We're a group of guys with more than 85 years of combined experience camping, in the wilderness, in campgrounds, and in primitive sites around the United States. In the early days, we packed a 30-pound canvas tent, various heavy tools, and took our rusty old vehicles into the wilderness. In the ensuing years, our equipment has gotten better, and we've gotten a little smarter about matching our goals to our destinations. Sometimes you just want to get away from everything and hang out with the guys. Sometimes you're looking for a challenging trip that will give you an opportunity to practice all the things that Bear Grylls and that other guy teach on those survival shows.

We'll deal with the whole spectrum of camping on this site. We'll offer different perspectives from around the country, and we'll try to keep things as real as possible.
